All catteries should be visited before booking. They should be clean, secure and warm. They should provide a range of good foods and cope with special diets and medication. Clients should feel confident that management and staff are caring and capable and will meet any special requirements. I hope new clients will visit us. An arranged time is helpful as I like to meet new clients and discuss their individual needs personally, but notice is not necessary. SCH is always ‘ready for inspection’.

SCH is at the bottom of the ‘no-through’ village of Orcheston. We joke that going past SCH takes you to the churchyard or onto the ranges! Signage is missing at the moment due to rather slow-moving re-modelling of the grounds, but the cattery can be seen from the road and a temporary entrance is in place.
Orcheston is signed from A360 Stonehenge/Devizes road – at top of hill between Shrewton and Tilshead. At bottom of hill, drive straight over small crossroads into Orcheston village. There is only one road through village. Look for phone box on left then caravan & camping site on right. SCH is three drives further on your left – look out for cattery units seen from road. Please pull up, come in and ring bell on cattery main gate.
